Winter Park was a resort town a hundred years ago. Northerners loved to come here and spend their winters, and many of them built large and beautiful winter homes. These historic homes have been joined over the years by other fine homes, built by athletes, celebrities, and successful business people.

With Rollins College as its center point, Winter Park is a beautiful small town with established landscapes, giant live oaks, and lovely lawns. It hosts the Morse Museum and the spectacular Leu Gardens.

Park Avenue downtown is a lively street with boutiques, eclectic shops, and dining experiences both funky and fine. Tourists and locals alike easily spend a day strolling the sidewalks, relaxing in the park, shopping, and dining.

The Winter Park Farmer’s Market is known as one of central Florida’s finest farmer’s markets. Held on Saturday mornings, it provides a place for vendors of all kinds to sell their wares. Visitors can find homemade jams and jellies, fresh roasted international coffees, and booths of locally-grown vegetables and fruits. A covered area hosts vendors who sell baked goods, cheeses, chocolates, and specialty items.

After enjoying the Farmer’s Market, visitors can wander through the historic train station museum or go down to the lake to catch a one-hour boat tour. On this guided tour, visitors get to see all of the impressive and historic homes that stand on the shores of the chain of Winter Park lakes.

There are also theaters, museums, and galleries to enjoy in Winter Park. The neighborhoods around the business district are full of historic homes with well kept lawns and beautiful landscaping. It's an area of Central Florida that is the desired place to live and offers a rich variety of culture and services and attractions.

Locals and visitors also have plenty of theaters, museums, and galleries to enjoy in Winter Park. Just driving to these destinations is pleasurable, as the routes go through established neighborhoods of beautiful, well-kept homes.

We are right here in the heart of Orlando/ Winter Park:

Orlando is not just one of the biggest cities in Florida. It is also one of the most important cities in the entire United States. While it is true that Orlando is widely known for its amusement parks, the truth of the matter is that there is so much more to the city than just that aspect.

Orlando is a city rich in culture, history, and a multitude of fascinating attractions. This is one of the great, sprawling metropolises of Florida state, and that fact is realized in many different forms.

ORLANDO THE CITY WE SERVE

Although the full history of Orlando can be traced back thousands of years, the story of the city as it stands in the present can be traced back to when it was formally settled in 1875, as well as when it was incorporated as a city in 1885. Over 238, 000 people live in the actual city of Orlando, with well over two million living in the entire metro area. There is no question that the city has come a long way from the days in which it was known as Jernigan.

Surrounded by lakes and swamps, Orlando has a number of fascinating attractions and components. At the end of the day, it is pretty close to impossible to talk about Orlando, without at least mentioning the theme parks that populate this crowded city. Of course, Orlando has been home to Walt Disney World since 1965.

This heavyweight attraction from one of the most recognizable, beloved brands in the world continues to draw monstrous crowds throughout the year. However, Orlando offers than Walt Disney World. One can also find SeaWorld Adventure Park Orlando, which also includes Aquatica and Discovery Cove.

Orlando also features Universal Orlando Resort, which is definitely the number-one challenger to Disney’s standing as the best theme park in Orlando. Wet ‘N Wild and Holy Land are two other notable theme parks in Orlando.

Those who find themselves in Downtown Orlando will likely want to find themselves on Orange Avenue, which is considered to be the heart and soul of the downtown area. Tons of bars, restaurants, theaters, nightclubs, and other venues can be found in the area. Should the main strip of Orange Avenue be closed, visitors can easily make their way over to Lake Eola, which is considered by locals and visitors alike to be one of the most beautiful parks in the city.

Orlando is also notable for featuring dozens of golf courses.
